High energy consumption devices – e.g. kettles, tumble driers, fridges.
Identify the main types of energy used in people's homes.
Outline the main ways in which energy is used in people's homes.
Identify household appliances which use high levels of energy.
Know about energy efficiency.
Examples of energy efficiency – a house that is well-insulated; without draughts; has low-water-use devices; uses low energy devices.
