Learners will have the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate an event.
Be able to develop a plan to run a specified event.
Learners must provide sufficient and valid evidence to achieve this outcome. Project planning techniques could include:
Work with others to set individual and team objectives for an event.
Use project planning techniques to plan the event, including resource costing, risk assessment and contingency planning.
Be able to present a plan.
The project plan may include:
Feedback can be obtained from peers, tutors/teachers, customers.
Present the plan for approval by others.
Amend the plan in line with recommendations and feedback from others.
Be able to work with others to implement the proposed plan.
Learners must provide sufficient and valid evidence to achieve this outcome.
Evidence may be provided by witness statements, personal logs, recorded materials (e.g. video).
Contributing positively may include attending as required, carrying out tasks, communicating clearly, supporting others.
Contribute positively to the event in a specified role.
Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to meet objectives for the event.
Be able to evaluate the event.
Learners must provide sufficient and valid evidence to achieve this outcome.
The event should be assessed against the aims and objectives set in LO2. To give constructive feedback learners need to understand the need to:
Assess the success of the event and own contribution.
Give and receive constructive feedback.
Make recommendations for future events.
