Be able to apply paint to different surface areas.

Paint backgrounds

  • preparation of freshly plastered surfaces with mist coats
  • priming and knotting of new timber surfaces
  • preparation of mdf surfaces
  • washing down surfaces
  • sanding and filling
  • application of painting to a given range of surfaces
  • review applications for defects, identify causes and remedy

    Apply paint to different surfaces in the correct sequence, using the required tools and paint type.
