The Department for Education (DfE) has recently published guidance to support providers on the safeguarding agenda specifically for their work based learners. In particular the guidance provides recommendations on how to meet the Prevent Statutory Duty. The drivers for the publication are in response to Ofsted’s thematic review in July 2016. They identified the clear challenges for providers in effectively implementing the Duty for work based learners.
