We are delighted to announce that our Essential Digital Skills Qualifications are now available, making Gateway Qualifications the first Awarding Organisation to pass Ofqual’s technical evaluation and be able to make the qualifications available to providers.
There has been a huge interest in these new qualifications, which can be delivered as a legal entitlement to adults from 1st August 2020, and we are pleased to have this morning received confirmation from Ofqual that our Essential Digital Skills Qualifications (EDSQ) have passed the technical evaluation and can be made available to Centres.
Gateway Qualifications’ CEO, Carol Snape, said:
“We are delighted that we have now passed Ofqual’s technical evaluation and can make our Essential Digital Skills Qualifications available to providers. We know from the engagement and feedback we’ve received that there are a large number of providers who are keen to support their learners by making these qualifications available, especially as the Coronavirus lockdown has further highlighted the extent of the digital divide.”
The qualifications are available at Entry Level 3 and Level 1 and will be ready for teaching from 1st August 2020. More information about the qualifications and assessments will be made available to interested Centres through a series of webinars over the coming weeks.
