Denise Harrison MCIEA
Member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors
Denise is an accomplished professional and self-motivated manager with a wide range of experience in the business and creative industries.
Having previously worked with a Training Provider as a development coach and mentor, she has been responsible for delivering full Apprenticeship programmes and facilitating training workshops and skills development.
Denise is now an experienced Independent End-point Assessor, occupationally competent to conduct consistent and compliant assessment activities for Gateway Qualifications.
Gemma Dunne ACIEA
Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors
Gemma has nearly two decades of experience in further education and work-based learning. She has managed and contributed to a range of impactful projects across the UK and internationally.
Gemma holds a comprehensive suite of qualifications in teaching, assessing, coaching, and quality assurance, along with a Business Management degree specialising in Project Management.
For the past five years, Gemma has been actively engaged in End-point Assessment (EPA), drawing from her own start as an apprentice to ensure that each apprentice has a positive and supportive experience demonstrating their skills, knowledge, and behaviours in EPA.
Joanne Grummitt MCIEA

Joanne is an experienced Independent End Point Assessor, focussed on delivering a high-quality service, ensuring a positive apprentice experience and robust compliance.
She has significant previous experience as an operational and commercial manager within the financial services sector for a high street bank, and in the Apprenticeships sector as an Operations Manager.
Her previous roles have involved successfully leading change, delivering high-quality customer service, building strong customer-focused teams and effective stakeholder management.
Julie Fox
Julie has over 35 years of extensive experience in the Business Skills area, working in various roles across all sectors.
With a background of teaching in education, the NHS and the private sector for the last 18 years, she has been involved in apprenticeships and management.
Julie brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and compliance and strives to provide the best for all apprentices at their EPA.
Rebecca Williams ACIEA
Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors
Rebecca has over 15 years in education, primarily in FE teaching, before moving into End-point Assessment.
She holds teaching, assessing and IQA qualifications and currently serves as the SEN governor for her local school, staying up to date with all relevant legislation.
Having completed over 500 End Point assessments to date, Rebecca is excited to bring her expertise to Gateway Qualifications, along with her passion and enthusiasm for the process.
Suzanne Fenton MCIEA
Member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors
Suzanne has 20+ years of experience in Leadership and Management, alongside delivery, assessment and quality assurance of a range of qualifications, including Apprenticeships and End-point Assessments.
Suzanne has over 20 years experience as a qualified Assessor and IQA. She has also been a qualified EQA for the last three years and an IEPA and IQA of End-point Assessments for the last five years.
Suzanne uses her extensive experience and knowledge in the Apprenticeship and Management sector to ensure each apprentice is given the best opportunity to succeed in their Apprenticeship.
Nicola Heaton
Nicola has over 20 years’ experience in apprenticeships, training, assessment and qualifications. Transitioning from Retail and Hospitality to further education, she has gained extensive experience in varied roles within operational management, assessment and quality assurance.
As a qualified EQA, Lead IQA and Trainer/ Assessor Nicola has worked with a variety of training providers, EPAOs and Awarding Organisations over the years. She is passionate about sharing her experience and best practices in the sector.

Gessica Pronesti has nearly 15 years of experience in quality assurance, workforce training, and apprenticeship program management.
As a seasoned End-point Assessor and Quality Assurance professional, Gessica is passionate about building skilled, quality-focused teams through hands-on training and development.
